Are you ready to play tennis!?!?

We are!!

If you are a beginner in need of a new sport or an experienced player, we have a team for you.

All beginners must be able to serve and keep score. All teams will play singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Parents….we need you….be a captain of your child’s team!
 
Let us know if you are interested in belonging to a team by emailing albanytennis@aol.com  with your name, date of birth, address, telephone number and email address.

Players will then be notified by their team captains when to register for teams.

Those interested in being team captains can also send their information to the same email address.

All participants must be members of the United States Tennis Association.

or call 800-990-8782 to become a member. The cost will be $18.00 for a year.

Team registration will cost $30.00 which includes balls and a Nike Dri-Fit shirt.

The fall season is scheduled to begin the week of September 29 and will run approximately 6 weeks.
Matches will be played in Albany, Americus, Camilla and Colquitt.

Albany Leagues

Junior - USTA Jr. Team Tennis is the largest youth tennis program in the country, helping girls and boys ages 6-18.

Adult - Georgia involves over 40,000 adults age 19 and up. This league features progression from local leagues to State, Sectional and then to National championships. We offer programs for the beginner up through and including the professional level player.

Mixed Doubles - Georgia has about 7,000 mixed doubles players. This is a combo rating system. We offer 5.0-9.0. If you have a partner that is below or above you in rating, you can play together. Winner of local league may progress to State, Sectional and then to National championships.

BMW Combo Doubles-This is the fastest growing adult program in Georgia. With a participation base of 4,200 players, this program allows players of different skill levels to play together. For instance, a 3.0 & 3.5 combined to play a 6.5.

Senior - Georgia has over 5,000 senior league players. You need to be 50 years or older. The format is three doubles positions. Teams play local leagues and some progress to State, Sectional and then to National championships.

League play is played as part of the Flint River League

Which includes teams from Albany, Americus, Bainbridge, Blakely, Camilla and Thomasville.
